I'm No Hollaback Mom, I Guess

I love my texts with my oldest daughter.

She was on her way back from checking out her future university and town yesterday, when I asked her how it went:

Guess I can put my pom poms down now.

  1. Dignity is overrated. But my oldest tells me I need some too. Hmph.

    1. I know...Dignity is a hat I *can* wear; I just prefer not to wear it often! :D

  3. That was cute. My kids are 3 and 10 months. I don't know what form of communication we will be using when they're off to look at colleges. But, they are both boys, so I'm sure they will have a lot more commentary on who I am and how uncool at that age.

    1. Count on lots of texting. Of course, if they're 3 and 10 months now--by then, we'll probably be sending thought messages telepathically or something we can't even fathom yet. :)
